31st International Johannes Brahms Competition, Pörtschach am Wörthersee

The International Johannes Brahms Competition Pörtschach am Wörthersee 2026 will once again follow its well-established format, including immediate public jury evaluations after each performance (see regulations).
The competition venue is the historic Villi Cinema in Pörtschach am Wörthersee, Austria.
The competition category is exclusively dedicated to Art Song Performance in the DUO Voice/Piano category (see programme).
The repertoire focuses on songs by Johannes Brahms. In addition, compulsory works by Rainer Bischof and Johannes Kropfitsch are required (sheet music available from Doblinger Publishing House).
The jury consists of internationally renowned singers, pianists and cultural managers.
