Third Round – Final
Friday, 2 October & Saturday, 3 October starting at 7:30 p.m.
6 finalists:
- 1 song by Rainer Bischof or
- 1 song by Johannes Kropfitsch (sheet music available from Doblinger Publishing House)
- 2 songs by Johannes Brahms
- Works of free choice
Maximum duration: 30 minutes
Final Concert with Audience Prize
Sunday, 4 October
All prize winners and finalists will perform:
- a folk song from their home country with accompaniment
- and/or additional songs in consultation with the competition management
Transpositions are generally permitted.
Renowned agencies, members of the press and potential sponsors will be invited to attend the competition.
The competition may be partially streamed and recorded for radio and television.
Rehearsals for the first and second rounds will take place at the Gustav Mahler Private University in Klagenfurt.
Stage rehearsals at the Villi Cinema will already begin on Sunday, 27 September 2026.
