Do you love Brahms? It’s not that easy … !
Experience the immeasurable depth and diversity of his works and discover true musical treasures! (Subject to change!) The 2026 programme gives interested listeners the opportunity to discover not only Johannes Brahms’s already popular works, such as Symphony No. 1, Op. 73, and the Rhapsodies, Op. 79, but also lesser-known works – especially vocal works – such as the ‘12 Folk Songs’.

Embedded in a wealth of songs, chamber music and piano music by Johannes Brahms, flanked by and contrasted with works directly related to these, visitors to Pörtschach, but also the residents of Pörtschach themselves, will be brought one step closer to ‘Brahms’ love’!
